About this role
As Veterinary Director, your mission is to set the clinical tone and inspire a culture of unwavering professional support. This is a leadership role designed for a mentor and peer who finds deep satisfaction in guiding a team toward the “clinical win”—seeing complex cases through to successful outcomes while elevating the standards of care. You will lead the charge in a diverse caseload that includes stimulating emergency presentations, supported by cutting-edge tools like Heidi AI to reclaim your time for what truly matters: your patients and your people. You are not leading in isolation; you will enjoy collegial autonomy backed by a robust network, including a supportive Regional Clinical Director and a collaborative peer group of fellow Directors. Your daily impact will be measured by the growing confidence of your team and the enduring trust of a community that relies on your expertise.
About you
We are seeking a sophisticated clinical leader who is ready to move beyond the routine and embrace the responsibility of shaping a premier veterinary environment. You are a veterinarian who leads with clarity and empathy, possessing the rare ability to remain calm and uplifting even when the clinical pace quickens. Your technical proficiency is matched by an innovation mindset—an openness to new protocols and a desire to use the latest advancements to provide deeper answers for your clients. As an aspirational leader, you take pride in the “detective work” of medicine and find genuine joy in building others up, ensuring every member of your team feels safe to innovate and lead alongside you. You must hold a BVSc or DVM degree recognized by the AVBC and be eligible for registration in Australia.
