About us
Northcote Animal Hospital is a team of more than 12 vets, nurses and receptionists, all experts in their fields but equally dedicated to delivering compassionate and quality vet care. Our practice culture is super collaborative; we handle pressure with a positive vibe, and we don’t mind having a good laugh when pets do what pets and their owners invariably do.
We are well-resourced with the latest high-quality dental equipment, radiograph facilities, ultrasonography, a dedicated surgical theatre fitted out to an exceptional standard with high-quality anaesthetic equipment and instrumentation, and much more. We keep investing smartly in our equipment so we can give the best medical and surgical care out there.
We know our team is the key to our success, and we’re just as keen to invest in your development and any special interests you might have. More than that, we care about you as a person – from making sure you get your breaks to ensuring you have time off and even lending an ear on those tough days that we all know can happen from time to time. We’re big on new ideas and innovation from our team, and we jump on opportunities to implement them with any new equipment needed.
I booked in my dachshund after moving close by, and Northcote Animal Hospital was amazing. My dog is very anxious and can be reactive when we visit the vet, which is quite stressful, but the staff were really supportive, and it made the visit really pleasant. The vet was really knowledgeable, and they were really good with my nervous dog. They were able to give me advice on a variety of things and answered all my questions in a way that was easy to understand. I will definitely be bringing my dog back to these guys for my follow-up appointments. It was a really calm and easy vet visit. Thanks for all your help! – Caitlin K – Google Review
