Fur Life Vet Shepparton is a thriving companion animal practice operating within a purpose-built, contemporary facility designed specifically for patient comfort and optimal team flow. We pride ourselves on a high-standard clinical environment that includes three consultation rooms, dedicated feline and canine hospital areas, and a sterile surgery suite. Our culture is defined by a young, passionate, and close-knit team that values both professional excellence and personal connection. We actively celebrate our successes through coffee runs, cake, and regular breakfast catch-ups, ensuring a supportive and fun atmosphere. About this role
Your mission in this role is to deliver exceptional veterinary care to a loyal client community while helping shape the future of our clinical standards. Whether you are seeking a pure clinical focus or a Clinical Lead opportunity, you will manage a diverse and rewarding caseload that includes second opinions and advanced treatments like stem cell therapy.
- Provide high-quality GP medicine, surgery, and dentistry.
- Nurture long-term relationships with a delightful client base.
- Collaborate with visiting specialists for orthopedic and advanced procedures.
- (For Lead candidates) Mentor and coach a passionate team while evolving clinical protocols.
- Participate in community-focused events and clinic outreach.
About you
You are an experienced veterinarian with at least five years of clinical practice and a comprehensive GP skillset. You are ready to make a significant impact, bringing a collaborative “can-do” approach and a genuine desire to connect with both patients and peers. Whether you are looking to step into a leadership craft or simply want to focus on high-level medicine without the on-call requirements, you value continuity of care and professional growth. Your adaptability and enthusiasm for mentoring others will make you an essential part of our forward-thinking team.
Our offer
We provide a comprehensive remuneration and benefits package designed to support your lifestyle and career aspirations:
- Salary: $160,000–$170,000 (FTE) plus Super and profit-sharing incentives for Clinical Leads.
- Sign-on Bonus: $10,000 to welcome you to the team.
