About us
We’re a well-loved mixed animal practice with a strong focus on small animals, and a loyal client base that trusts us for genuine care and down-to-earth advice. We believe general practice is anything but general. We’re the trusted voice for pet owners in our community, and the foundation of healthy, happy pets.
Our team is passionate, easy-going and quick to support each other, and our leadership listens. You’ll also have access to an amazing network of specialist hospitals when a case calls for it.
Our cocker spaniel loves visiting Terry Hills Animal Hospital! The team are always so friendly and welcoming, sensitive to her mood regardless of the treatment she is having and they welcome her like family every time. The location (in rural Terrey Hills) and the smaller waiting room make every visit as calming as possible. Would highly recommend using them if you are on the northern beaches or upper north shore. – Nicole O’Dowd – Google Review
About this role
You’ll join a team that backs each other every day. We run regular team meetings, encourage open case discussions and believe in growing and learning together. When we’re not saving lives or soothing worried clients, you’ll find us riding horses, racing go-karts, attempting pottery masterpieces and enjoying each other’s company.
We’re looking for a full-time veterinarian to bring your passion, experience and fresh perspective to our team. You’ll see a varied general practice caseload with a strong small animal focus, the variety that comes with a mixed practice, and specialist support close at hand when you need it.
You’ll work from modern consult and treatment rooms, with a fully equipped surgical suite and imaging, digital x-ray, ultrasound and in-house diagnostics.
Your roster is built around a life outside work: four shifts each week plus one in three Saturdays, with no after-hours or on-call, ever.
Not quite sure yet? Come in for a casual shift and meet the team. No pressure, just good vibes and great medicine.
