About this role

We are seeking a full-time or part-time Veterinarian to join our Tamborine Mountain team in a flexible role that offers genuine variety across consultations and surgery.

Working within a Tuesday to Saturday roster, you will enjoy a balanced clinical week with the opportunity to build strong client relationships, manage a broad companion animal caseload, and contribute meaningfully to patient outcomes each day. The role would suit a veterinarian who enjoys the rhythm of general practice, appreciates a friendly and capable team around them, and wants the flexibility to shape work in a way that supports both career satisfaction and life outside the clinic.

You will have the support of experienced colleagues, practical systems, and a wider professional network, while still enjoying the close community feel of a local mountain clinic.

About you

You are a thoughtful, capable veterinarian who enjoys building trust with clients and working as part of a collaborative team. You communicate clearly, manage competing clinical priorities with sound judgement, and bring a steady, professional approach to both consults and surgery.

You will thrive here if you:

• Enjoy working with clients who are genuinely invested in their pets’ care
• Value teamwork, shared knowledge, and a positive clinic culture
• Can balance consults, surgery, case management, and client communication with confidence
• Bring strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy clinical day
• Have at least 1 year of experience in consultations, surgery, or both
• Hold a Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent degree recognised in Australia, or are willing to complete the required recognition process
