About this role

This is a senior small animal role for a clinician with the experience to add real depth to the team. You’ll work a varied GP caseload alongside Dr Shannon and the wider clinical team, with the time and resources to work cases up properly and the freedom to make decisions based on the medicine.

Day-to-day, you’ll mentor team members through complex cases, contribute to the clinical standards that make this practice what it is, and work across the kind of GP territory that keeps senior clinicians inspired to deliver your best: complex medical workups, dentistry, soft tissue, and the orthopaedic surgery the practice is known for. You’ll also have the clinical support of the wider VetPartners network when you want a second opinion or specialist sounding board.

About you

You’re a senior small animal clinician with the experience to bring clinical insights to the team and the temperament to share them willingly. You enjoy mentoring, you take a considered approach to medicine, and you’re the kind of clinician who builds trust with both the team and the client base over time. You’re comfortable making the ethical call when it matters, you take pride in working cases up thoroughly, and you’re looking for a professional home where the standards and the values actually align with how you want to practise.

You hold a BVSc, DVM, or equivalent recognised in Australia, with at least five years of small animal general practice experience. You’re registered, or eligible to register, with the NSW Veterinary Practitioners Board (which covers ACT registration).
