About this role

We are looking for a mixed animal veterinarian who wants more than a short-term move. Long-term permanent is preferred, and for the right person, there is genuine potential to progress into a buy-in or future ownership.

The role can adapt to your stage of career. You may be a confident new graduate ready to learn quickly in a supportive mixed practice environment, or an experienced veterinarian looking for your next long-term chapter in an independent clinic where your contribution will genuinely matter.

You will work across true mixed animal practice, with exposure to both companion animal and large animal work. The caseload offers variety, practical decision-making, client relationships, and the chance to develop broad clinical confidence across species.

The working week is Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm. On-call is shared at one weeknight per week, plus one Saturday morning from 9:00am to 1:00pm in four.

Our offer

The salary range is NZ$85,000 to NZ$150,000, depending on experience.
