About this role

This position is a mission-critical leadership opportunity for an experienced professional to guide our clinical team, primarily based at our Cleveland hospital. You will manage a diverse and balanced caseload of consultations and surgeries, ensuring every patient receives personalized care. Beyond clinical duties, you will serve as a mentor to less experienced staff and provide occasional support across our sister locations to maintain our high standards of service.

• Lead and mentor junior veterinary staff in daily clinical operations.
• Deliver high-quality medical and surgical treatments for a loyal client base.
• Collaborate with the broader team to foster a healthy, productive workspace.
• Maintain accurate treatment plans and communicate effectively with pet owners.

About you

You are an accomplished veterinarian with a passion for general practice and a desire to take the next step in your career. Your clinical expertise is matched by your ability to lead others with empathy and professionalism. As a senior member of the team, you are expected to bring a proactive approach to problem-solving and a genuine commitment to building lasting relationships with our community.

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent recognized in Australia.
• Ideally 4+ years of experience in small animal general practice.
• Proven ability to mentor others and lead clinical workflows.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, “team-first” mindset.
